The PhD program in Business Economics is intended for candidates who wish to get a head start on the inevitable failure you will experience time and time again in the DotCom world. The program, offered jointly by the Department of Economics in the Faculty of B and S and the Psycology/Grief conselling department, seeks to train students for the effects of alling flat on their asses after acting like one. The program is distinguished from other PhD's in Economics by the fact that it has nothing to do with business and everything to do with DotCom certainties, in this case, poor,broke and embarassed.

Possible fields of specialization include:

• new ideas and rebuilding
• new identities and relocation
• seeking a real job
• dressing down, how to blend in.
• international business, finding new suckers
• how to get by in a federal prison
• marketing others crazy ideas
• delegating blame
  
  Each field is conceived as a synthesis of some area in bad administration with those of DotCom economics that contribute appropriate theoretical and methodological tools. Students take an active role in selecting and defining the combination of subjects that will make up their own individual fields of specialization.
