In
this time of intimidating change throughout the world, our
clarity of purpose gives the School unmatched ability to prepare
you for real world challenges. Our commitment to
Dot Com webUcation focuses on building a deep understanding
of the internet industry, teaching with skill, passion, and
communicating ideas that could have power in practice,
although based outside of normal business theory.
Our dedication to field-based, problem-focused research (and
believe me you’ll need it), and to our 'in-case' method
of instruction, remains as meaningful today as it was at the
beginning of this century (ie; 2000).
But much about the School is changing as we embrace a rapidly
changing world (since 1999).

We are educating students and building knowledge for a global
community that is increasingly entrepreneurial and ever more
reliant on technology ( and any hair brained ideas to profit
from it)-- and therefore more dependent on its shifts. These
times demand creative leadership and financing.
As we prepare for the future, we will rely on our cornerstones
to ensure that our fundamental values and focus endure through
the next crash and many more.
We could
not achieve this delicate and remarkable balance without a
remarkable community of remarkable people -- faculty, students,
staff, and alumni -- who work together to make this unique
(and remarkable) learning environment possible.
